Benjamin Canida, D.D.S.

Dr. Ben Canida grew up in Madison and attended Eggleston Elementary School and Madison Consolidated High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Taylor University and his professional degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Ben has also received postgraduate training at the L.D. Pankey Institute and the Dawson Academy, both recognized worldwide for their excellence in advanced technical reconstructive dentistry focusing on severe wear problems, TMJ and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Ben joined his father in practice in 2005 carrying on the tradition of his grandfather as he became the third generation in the Canida family to serve the community of Madison in the practice of dentistry.

As a member of the dental community Dr. Ben is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and represents this region as a delegate to the Indiana State Dental Convention. Dr. Ben also serves on the board of directors for the Community Foundation and the Heritage Trail Conservancy.

Dr. Ben and his lovely wife, Becky, have three beautiful young daughters, Lilly, Ava and Kate. Becky is currently molding young lives as a preschool teacher at Madison Preschool. In his time away from the office, Dr. Canida especially enjoys, crossfit, running, biking and waterskiing. He and his family are actively involved with Calvary Baptist Church.
